This course is designed for learners who want to refresh their Russian grammar skills and improve their fluency and accuracy in using Russian for academic or professional purposes. It provides the complex study of fundamental elements of Russian phonetics, grammar, lexicon, and syntax. The course covers the most essential and “tricky” topics in basic, intermediate and advanced Russian grammar such as usage of cases and imperfective and perfective verb aspects.

You will learn how to use Russian grammar in real-life situations. You will know how to conjugate Russian verbs and decline nouns, adjectives and pronouns correctly.
You will understand how to use Imperative and Subjunctive Moods. You will learn how to form Russian words using suffixes and prefixes.
You will understand how to use Imperfective and Perfective Verb Aspects. You will learn how to form Russian participles and gerunds.
You will be able to pronounce and write Russian words without mistakes. You will be able to form simple and complex Russian sentences.

Working Language
Lessons are conducted in Russian. Difficult aspects of Russian grammar are explained in English.
Academic Requirements
Students must know how to read in Russian and be familiar with basic Russian grammar (Genders, Plural, Verb Conjugations, Russian Cases).
Technical Requirements
Students will require fast Internet connection, Skype (Viber, WhatsApp, Google Meet), Adobe Reader, printer (optional).

Payments in EUR are accepted via bank transfer (SEPA).
Payments in USD are accepted via ACH payments (only for US students).

All payments for one-to-one and mini group lessons are accepted in advanced.
When you enroll your Russian course I reserve the time for your classes in my calendar at least one month ahead.
It means that every week I spend a certain amount of time on preparing learning materials, checking your homework and sending emails to answer your questions if needed.
Therefore, payment is in advance for a full lesson package. This will allow me to plan your study course well and care about your progress and help you to stay on track.

when can i have classes?
Russian lessons are available from Monday to Friday during the following times:
9:00 AM to 7:00 PM (London Time)
7:00 AM to 2:00 PM (New York Time)
11:00 AM to 9:00 PM (Moscow Time)
What's your refund policy?
Dear friend, before you choose and pay for the lessons package make sure that you can find at least two or three hours a week for lessons and study during the further period of time.
I do not give refund if you decide to stop learning in the middle of period.
If you cannot attend your current course due to personal reasons (vacation, business trip, sick leave, etc.), you may transfer the balance of the course (i.e. the remaining lessons) to another agreed, later date.

how mini groups are formed?
As a rule, mini groups consist of 2 learners. You can study with your friends, relatives or coworkers.

lateness & cancellations
How can I cancel or reschedule a class?
If you are unable to attend the lesson in the pre-agreed time you can cancel or reschedule a booked lesson without any fee up to 24 hours before the lesson. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the lesson, you will be charged for a lesson. Of course, if the lesson did not take place because of technical issues, you will not be charged for it. To cancel or reschedule your lesson, make a Viber call or email me to study@therussianvoice.com and we will arrange another day and time for the next class.
What happens if I late for my online class?
Please, try to be on time for your online lessons. If you start a class late, the study session will finish at the scheduled time. Your teacher will wait a maximum of 10-15 minutes for you to come to your class. If you have not arrived in 10-15 minutes, she will stop waiting and go offline on Skype. As a result, you will lose this lesson from your package. If you have a technical problem with your connection or your computer, you can email me or make a call, and we will reschedule the lesson. Therefore, it is strongly advised that you check that your hardware and Internet connection are fit for online learning.
I can't attend my current course due to vacation or sick leave. What should I do?
If you cannot attend your current course due to personal reasons (vacation, business trip, sick leave, etc.), you must submit a request to study@therussianvoice.com or notify me at the end of the lesson. We will transfer the balance of your course (i.e. the remaining lessons) to another agreed, later date and you will not lose your lessons.
